I am an artist of many trades, mother to a four-year-old, partner to a wonderful musician, postpartum doula, and ongoing student of intersectional, holistic health, always looking to practice mindfulness and earth-friendlier living.
In 2013 I traveled across the United States and came back expecting a child, who thrust me into the brand new, endlessly challenging but powerful life of parenthood in 2014. I began my certification as a postpartum doula later that year with Birth Arts International. In 2015 I began studying clinical nutrition and functional herbalism with the Eclectic School of Herbal Medicine. Throughout the years I have offered creative and business services to likeminded small business owners, including logo design, web design, and content writing. In 2016 I wrote a featured print article discussing the concern about links between meat and cancer for the Price-Pottenger Nutrition Foundation’s Journal of Health and Healing.
Currently I am continuing my education, exploring new mediums of art including pyrography and poetry, slowly transforming my living space and yard into a permaculture sanctuary, and learning to practice mindfulness, self-care, and simple living with my family.
